For the second straight year, Michael Scott joined the Luke Bryan Farm Tour to provide music and karaoke during the preconcert festivities at each of his 6 stops. This year's tour kicked-off at the Ayars Family Farm in Mechanicsburg, Ohio on Thursday, September 27th. The remaining stops for the 2018 tour were as follows:
September 28th at the Atkins Farm in Pesotum, Il
September 29th at the Ziel Farm in Boone, IA
October 4th at the Whitehurst Cattle Company in Archer, Fl
October 5th at Misty Morning Farms in North Augusta, SC
October 6th at the Doug Yates Farm in Ringgold, GA
Working alongside Luke's sponsor, Bayer, Michael helped get the crowd fired up for a tailgate like no other. The preconcert festivities began @ 2PM and ran until the main stage gates opened at 5PM. Joining Luke on this year's Farm Tour was Chase Rice, Jon Langston and the Peach Pickers.
The Farm Tours began back in 2009 and are intended to bring awareness to farming communities in the US as well as provide scholarships for the farm families who live in those communities. Once again this year, Bayer will be donating meals to hungry families across America through the "Here's to the Farmer" campaign. Concert goers helped make this happen by simply hopping on their favorite social media and sending a hashtag to, #Here's to the Farmer. For every hashtag, Bayer will donate one meal to a hungry family. Over 1,000,000 meals were donated last year and Bayer hopes this year's campaign will top that.
